What is Crystal Healing?

It is the use of crystals to stimulate healing and spiritual development.  Everything in the Universe is made from energy which is constantly vibrating - including human beings.  When something is out of balance in our lives, it can upset the vibrations and cause the physical symptoms of illness.
Crystal therapy takes an holistic approach to health and well being, seeking to treat the whole person. It recognises that physical disease is the body's way of signalling that something is not right in our lives.

How does it work?

At an atomic level, everything in the universe is in a constant state of motion.  This motion causes waves of energy to be formed. This energy permeates and surrounds everything that exists, and is called Universal life-force energy.
Crystals too are constantly vibrating and resonating with a particular frequency.  Their internal structure, or 'lattice', is constant and represents perfect order, which gives them their specific energy signature and healing abilities.
​It is not surprising then, that these energy signatures resonate and interact with the crystals within our own bodies (or that of any living organism).

Each crystal is made up of a collection of minerals with their own specific energy frequency.  We have many of these minerals as trace elements within our bodies. We believe that when we bring these minerals into our own energy fields, the change in frequency is picked up, and these trace elements in our bodies respond to the energy frequency of the minerals, being stimulated and activated. 
We believe these events trigger biochemical shifts in the brain, creating chemical responses that affect the physical body, the mind and emotions and an also affect the brain function, producing a spiritual experience. 
   

Course Contents

  • ​information on the aura and chakras (energy centres) of the human body,
  • how each chakra resonates with a certain colour vibration and certain crystals,
  • how to choose, cleanse, charge, dedicate, program and meditate with the crystals,
  • brief overview of some of the theories on why and how crystals work to aid healing, and the history of their uses in the past,
  • practical work on how to use crystals in a basic layout on the human body,
  • protective and grounding visualisations and crystal meditations,
  • pendulum dowsing,
  • sensing the aura and chakras,
  • how crystals can help and support in our everyday lives.

Candidates will receive the Crystals for Self Healing Certificate from the Phoenix Wings School of Holistic Therapies upon successful completion of this course.
